Yahoo Messenger Public Chat Rooms will be closing on 14 dec 2012 ?

Hi Friends. How are you today?
Just wanted to share a news with all of you.
Friends, I just saw the blog of yahoo messenger and found that yahoo public chat rooms will not be available after 14 Dec.
Strange ... Very Strange ... Isn't it ?
But It will finally shut down :(
Enjoy the last few days at yahoo chat rooms :)
Few more features will also be discontinued.like ping box and windows live messenger will also not be interoperable with yahoo messenger
etc

    Its good in a way.. if you see most yahoo chatrooms are getting dirty! but.. its bad in a way because there are some good people out there with whom you can connect really well!!

    but what made yahoo take this decision?

      Yes you are right. There are all kind of people.
      But It's their decision
      I don't know why they took this decision.
      :( Lots of people are sad because of this including Me also :(
      I think they will create some better option or alternative. I don't know :(

      I don't know the exact reason why they are closing ... It's up to them ...
      But I guess they will provide some better option ... I don't know :(

    If the resources that it takes to keep the service going costs more than the revenue that the service generates then it's not too difficult to believe that they're trimming the waste.

    If people use 3rd party clients then there's no advertising for Y! and thus keeping it open costs the company money. When Y! was bigger it could absorb those losses but these days...

    Please check the rooms in Yagoloo

    places around the world.The decision to kill off public and now there is a lot of
    discussion going on in the internet about it. We noticed many made the jump to yagoloo.com and wanted to welcome everyone to be part of the Yagoloo community.
